The Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation in great shape. We have a very active and dedicated committee assisted by our executive

director Ron Yogman. We have board meetings on the second Thursday of every month and all members are welcome to attend. We are

currently working on the arrangements for the National Pet Week dinner which is jointly sponsored by the HAHF and the HCVMS. We

have a new location this year, the Double Tree Hotel on Cypress Avenue. The keyno te speaker will be our friend, ever popular Kevin

Fitzgerald, the star of Animal Planet's "Emergency Vets". Please be sure you save the date of Saturday, May 13th. We look forward to

a fun evening and hope you and your staff will be there.

Our Pet Memorial Card program is proving tobe very popular. Clients with deceased pets are very impressed when they receive one of these very professional sympathy cards indicating your donation to the Foundation in memory of their pet. More cards can be ordered from the Foundation at $10.00 each. We are also working on a revision of the Hurricane Preparedness brochure. In light of recent events this has assumed some urgency. We have collected a significant sum of money from the veterinarians in Hillsborough County, and this has been sent to the Louisiana Veterinary Association for the relief effort.
